The Application of Battery -free Humidity Tag in the Greenhouse
Water, exposure to light and temperature control in plant/crop growth in greenhouses is becoming a key process in automation.
Optimizing irrigation, exposure to light and temperature during growth of assets in their different lifecycles results in higher yield and reduced source materials, thus increasing bottom line margins.
It also enhances personnel output by automating data collection. A wireless collection that reduces human errors to the minimum while speeding the process.
How it works
Wireless and battery-free soil moisture and temperature sensors are attached to individual plants for specific asset monitoring.
Temperature, humidity, pressure and gas sensors are placed in key locations of the greenhouse for conditions monitoring.
Personnel is equipped with handheld devices that wirelessly collect plant and greenhouse ambient data and transmit it to the company database.
Based on a predesigned logic, a SW piece will actuate on specific machinery such as water sprinklers or provide alerts to key staff members.
