The Hygro is a passive RFID sensor tag. Built in a compact PCB format, the tag includes a HTS-221 relative humidity sensor from ST Microelectronics with a range from 0% rH to 100% rH.
These RFID sensor tags are compatible with commercial UHF RFID readers (EPC C1G2). With a 2W ERP setup the battery-less humidity sensor can communicate to over one meter
The Hygro-fenix is available in a variety of antenna design and sizes, depending on the specific application. It can be encapsulated in an plastic or ABS casing for usage in harsh environments.
